We’re now providing an automated news feed to let you know when anything has changed. Basically, when we update the details of a person, or group of people, we issue a news bulletin. Times between updates vary, depending on the amount of research we have to do first, but we’re aiming to get at least one or two a month out.
Do it by email
Subscribe to our email update service to receive automatic updates straight into your inbox. All you need is an email address.
What you get
Whenever a new item is added to our site, you’ll receive an immediate update by email to your registered email address.
To subscribe for updates by email, simply select updates from the subscription panel and enter your email address. A confirmation and activation email will be sent to you. Once your subscription has been activated, you’ll start to receive our emails.
You can unsubscribe at any time by simply clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of each email.
If you want to change your options at any time, just unsubscribe using one of the email links, and then re-subscribe from the site with your new preferences.
And now for a bit of housekeeping
See the wood and the trees
We publish everything we have in our fabulous trees, so basically if you can’t find it, we don’t have it. With over 20,000 people, 5,000 families, 12,000 sources, and 69,000 image references currently sat in our database, you’ll appreciate the amount of work that has gone into this over the years.
You can see more in the Close Ancestry Trees.
Donations
We know that everyone in the world is after your hard-earned cash, but if you do feel a donation coming on as a result of your visit here, then please feel free to send it our way. It all goes towards the upkeep of the site, for which we charge absolutely nothing. So, please help us to keep the site free to use. Thanks.
