Many thanks to Paige Close for sending me off down a branch tracing the descendants of Henry Mead Close (1785) and his family in America. In particular, we have a number of WW1 and WW2 draftees, as well as one from the American Civil War. (134 new people and 150 new images).

For one reason and another, this update was a bit bumpier than usual, so apologies to anyone who has had a less than pleasant experience in the trees over the past few days. I’m also having a few problems with some images not appearing on the trees for some reason. I don’t have an answer to this yet.

We publish everything we have in our fabulous trees, so basically if you can’t find it, we don’t have it. With over 20,000 people, 5,000 families, 12,000 sources, and 69,000 image references currently sat in our database, you’ll appreciate the amount of work that has gone into this over the years.

You can see more in the Close Ancestry Trees.
