Joseph Clowes (1885) was born in Great Glenn, Leicestershire, the son of Alfred Clowes (1851) and Ruth Coleman. Enlisted into the 4th Batallion Worcester Regiment as a Private. Regimental Number: 25340 Died of Wounds in France and Flanders in 1916.
