Note: NOTE: Not entirely sure about the 1841 NOTE: Not entirely sure about the 1841 She doesn't appear on the record of her parents, but there is an unknown daughter, Anna Maria Close, of about the right age. She never appears again after this so think there's some confusion with the names on the first one. Maria Close is a witness to sister Matilda's wedding and also appears to be on the passenger list to America in 1851. Anna Maria (1840) wouldn't be old enough at this point. There was another Elizabeth Close in the area at the same time, so the following 1841 Census record may be hers, rather than the actual one. |

Note
|
Note: NOTE: Seems to be some confusion on the name here. She was definitely baptised as Elizabeth Anna, but also appears to crop up as Maria. There's no record of a Maria Close prior to 1840, so this may have been a familial name. |
